Paimon's Sharing Session #6

 

It's time for Paimon to share more news from the world of Teyvat again! The juiciest news I have is something I heard when walking past a meeting room, so come read it quick before someone finds I've been leaking info and takes it down again!

 

#Intheworks

Question 1: Will there be side tasks that we can accomplish, like clearing monsters from an area, or couriering an item to someone in exchange for rewards?

Paimon: Wow, you guys can read the developers' minds! I can't wait for Teyvat's final release! Hope you guys are excited too~! ≖‿≖✧

 

Question 2: Can we have a crafting system for combining objects we no longer want or need to make new or better items?

Paimon: So ah... *whispers* Paimon's not supposed to say anything but... recently, when walking (ok floating...) past a meeting room, Paimon *may* have overheard them talking about a crafting system or something like that... You get the idea, but Paimon said NOTHING, so ZIP IT! =w=

 

Question 3: Rather than only being able to do a dungeon a few times a day, could we perhaps make it that we only get rewards for the first few runs in a day, but can keep playing the dungeon afterwards (without any rewards)?

Paimon: *nods* This can be done. *Narrowly closes eyes and puts on air of complexity and intuition well above that which is required for this task*

 

#Underconsideration

Question 4: Would it be possible to have a series of secret quests that run through all of the major locations and greater world of Teyvat? To, you know, increase our sense of adventure and exploration?

Paimon: *Strokes chin* You Travelers really love your adventures, huh? Paimon's gonna have to work overtime to keep up with you all!

Question 5: Is there going to be a season (summer, fall, winter, spring) system in the game?

Paimon: Okay, so Travelers want to experience Teyvat in all four seasons... Noted! ٩( 'ω' )و Although... How would each of the four seasons affect Teyvat? Do you guys have any ideas? *Scratches head*

 

Question 6: It would be cool if monsters and NPC's behaved differently in relation to the time of day. Any chance of making this happen?

Paimon: Paimon has noted this down! Although Paimon's sleeping time is very important and confidential!

 

#Notinplanning

Question 7: Can we have a quick bar so we can quickly access food to heal during combat?

Paimon: Planting your feet right, swinging a weapon, changing characters... Arghhhhhh! So much to do, and you wanna add healing items to the mix? Paimon has to think about how to keep things simple for everyone!

 

Question 8: When waiting until a new time in the game, I've noticed that the clouds don't change. Wouldn't they technically change as time goes by?

Paimon: Honestly, the developers are only just starting to recover from 1 HP... Paimon's not sure if they have enough HP left for optimizing clouds at this stage, and the last thing Paimon wants is to be looked at like an emergency food stash again... *shivers*
