Explanations of Some Fixes in This Version Update

Greetings, dear Travelers.

In the Version 1.2 update, besides the introduction of new content, we have also made many optimizations and bug fixes according to Travelers' feedback.
The developers would like to talk a bit more about our reasoning behind some of these bug fixes and optimizations.

1. Fixes an issue with Klee whereby if a Charged Attack is made at the same time as the Passive Talent "Pounding Surprise" is triggered, the Explosive Spark will unexpectedly disappear and the Talent's effect will not function properly. This issue has been fixed such that the DMG Bonus effect of Explosive Spark is added to the next Charged Attack as intended.
Because the procedure for the Charged Attack is to first consume Stamina, then deal damage, Travelers should keep the following in mind: If the Explosive Spark appears in between the time Stamina is consumed and damage is dealt, then the DMG Bonus will take effect as intended, but the consumed Stamina will not be regained.

2. Fixes the issue of Smoldering Flames' Pyro DoT interrupting character actions.
This interruption effect was neither a good gameplay experience for players, nor did it fulfill the development team's intended design. We have adjusted this in Version 1.2 by completely removing this interruption effect.

3. Fixes an issue with the shield generated by Beidou's Lv. 1 Constellation "Sea Beast's Scourge" whereby the character does not receive the expected interruption resistance effect while the shield is active.
By design, shields should provide interruption resistance effects. It was discovered that the shield generated by Beidou's Lv. 1 Constellation lacked this effect, so we have fixed that issue accordingly in Version 1.2. Also, shields generated by collecting Elemental Shards from Geovishap Hatchlings will also provide this interruption resistance effect.

4. Fixes an issue with Lisa whereby Low Plunge Attack DMG is not as expected.
It was discovered in Version 1.1 that there was a chance of no damage being dealt when Lisa performed a Low Plunge Attack. This issue has been fixed.

5. Fixes an issue whereby when Amber's Passive Talent "Precise Shot" is triggered again during the effect's duration, the effect duration will not refresh.

This issue has been fixed in Version 1.2 such that if "Precise Shot" is triggered again during the effect's duration, the effect's duration will refresh.

6. Fixes an issue with Mona whereby using her Talent "Illusory Torrent" in the Spiral Abyss incorrectly triggers the Blessing of the Abyssal Moon that is triggered by sprinting. Mona's Talent "Illusory Torrent" is not equivalent to sprinting, and is defined as an "Alternate Sprint" in the Talent's description. This distinction carries over to their functions, which are not exactly the same.
Therefore, some effects which reduce Stamina consumption of sprinting do not affect Mona's Illusory Torrent (for example, Kaeya and Razor's Passive Talents). Some effects which are triggered by sprinting also cannot be triggered by this talent. Also, it was discovered that the sprinting requirements of While It's Warm orders did not differentiate between sprinting and Mona's Illusory Torrent Talent, though both were, in fact, intended to be restricted during the event (using Illusory Torrent would shake the food, so surely the recipient of the order would be unsatisfied with the food they received).
We will endeavor to be stricter with the wording of event descriptions to avoid causing similar confusion in the future.

7. Fixes an issue whereby Geo constructs may move NPCs from their positions. In regard to this issue, we have actually seen a lot of interesting content created by Travelers (such as ousting Katheryne and escorting Godwin back home).

However, if the issue remains, it is likely to cause issues with some quests and events, in some cases blocking game progress by making it impossible to proceed. In order to ensure the optimal game experience for Travelers, the developers decided to fix this issue in Version 1.2.

The developers will continue to monitor Travelers' in-game experience and feedback on social media in the same way we have been doing up to now. We are grateful to all Travelers for your generous support, and we will do our utmost to ensure everyone has a positive gaming experience.
