Q1.What subtitle and voice-over languages does Genshin Impact support upon release?                                                                                                                    

Genshin Impact supports subtitles in English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Portugese, Thai, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. Currently available voice-overs include English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

Travelers may choose desired subtitle and voice-over languages in Settings, after entering the game.

 


Q2.Can I download the game in advance? If so, how can I do it? 

Travelers across different platforms can download the game in advance. Specific pre-load times are as follows:

Pre-load starting time: September 26, 2020 10:00 (GMT+8), 02:00 (UTC); September 25, 2020 19:00 (PDT)
When the pre-load is available, Travelers can download the PC version of Genshin Impact from its official website.

Featured rewards include:
 

3 million pre-registration reward:

Acquaint Fate ×10, which Travelers can claim via the in-game message system (available for characters created after the game's release and before patch 1.1)
 

10 million global pre-pregistrations reward:

Acquaint Fate ×10, which Travelers can claim via the in-game message system after reaching Adventure Rank 10 (available for characters created after the game's release and before patch 1.1)
 

"Get Ready for the Road" pre-registation event:

Travelers participating in the event can claim selected rewards via the in-game message system upon the game's release (Travelers should claim the card draw rewards during the event period)

Travelers can claim the Wings of Companionship via the in-game message system

No, you need to sign up for another miHoYo Account on Genshin Impact's official website or use a third-party account to play Genshin Impact.

Q6.Can I choose the game server?

Travelers playing on PC, iOS and Android can choose their server region from the log-in screen.
On PS4, the server region is set automatically based on your PSN Account's region.

Q7.Can I change my server and transfer my character from one server to another?

Travelers playing on PC, iOS and Android can change servers. However, it will not be possible to transfer characters.

 


Q8.Is account data shared across different platforms?

Account data is shared across PC, iOS and Android, so Travelers can log in from different platforms and continue their adventure.
Due to PSN Account's restrictions, Travelers cannot use their PSN Accounts to log into the game on different platforms.

 


Q9.Can Travelers across different platforms play together in Co-Op Mode?

Once Travelers have reached the required Adventure Rank and completed related quests, they can play together with friends and participate together in co-op events. PS4 players can also join forces with friends from different platforms and embark on a variety of co-op adventures together.

 


Q10.Will data transfer be supported in the future?

There are no such plans at the moment. Please choose your favorite platform to play the game.

 


Q11.Can I top up my account using different platform?

Travelers who have signed up on iOS or Android can top up their accounts on these platforms, but will not be able to complete payment on PC.
 
Travelers who have signed up on PC can top up their accounts on PC, iOS and Android.
 
Travelers playing on PS4 can top up their accounts via PSN Account.
